If breakfast represents a very special moment of your stay with us, dinner is also very enjoyable. Around a nicely decorated table, you will share with your hosts and the other guests good local food and recipes prepared with fresh products from the market or the garden. Slow Food is guiding our choices and we cook organic or farm products as much as we can. We grow some vegetables, a lot of herbs and many fruits in our orchard. We also have our free-range chickens' eggs.
Guest dinners (in French: table d'hôtes)is a service proposed to the guests in the limit of 15 people. It happens generally on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (spring and automn), Monday, Wednesday, Friday (summertime). In other periods, according to our family obligations, it can be on Week-End, Wednesday or even for lunch in some specific occasions. It must be booked ahead for we shop and cook depending on the number of guests. We are glad to cook the daily menu for adults, children, vegetarians, vegans or allergic people provided that we know it before.
The weather will command an indoor or outdoor meal, in the dining room or under the sheltered terrace. In both cases, the adults can have a look to their children not yet in bed. Dinner is served around a big table where everybody can see each other and talk in a convivial and easy-going atmosphere. When we are fully booked, it's sometimes easier to serve children's meal earlier.
Such a service is only proposed by a quarter of us and is highly requested by our guests. We recommend it to foreigners willing to meet the French, share their culture, discover and try our Slow Food.
Adult's dinner comprises 1 glass of apéritif, first course, main course, local cheese tray, desert, 2 glasses of wine (12.5cl), sparkling water, hot drink (€29). Teenager's dinner is the same with no alcohol (€25). Children's dinner (adapted menus) varies according to their tastes but is always well-balanced (€ 15).
